Lots of updates

Sorry for the silence, all…vacations, company & computer meltdowns have kept me all too occupied.

The good news is that there’s lots to go up on the site…the semi-bad news is that I’d better get to it asap because French Quarter Fest is this weekend and we have friends coming into town to have a great time. If I don’t do it before Friday I may kill so many brain cells that I forget what the hell it was I was going to post.

So here’s just a little something to start- a shot of a pelican taking off over City Park at sunset.

Hey, y'all, thanks for stopping by!~

I'm Tess Conrad, Yankee gone native in New Orleans. After dozens visits to research and write about NO's history I figured it'd be cheaper to just move, and in 2002 we did just that.

So now I own a NOLA-themed shop , and am part time at the Preservation Resource Center, which works to "preserve the historic neighborhoods that make New Orleans unique." I still write, not to mention photograph everything in sight, and play in the garden. Drop me a line, let me know what you think, or what you'd like to see covered!
