Fulton Street Christmas

Fulton street is kind of…um…made up. There’s been this big advertising push to go visit Fulton Street”, and I’ve been a little confused about it, but it turns out to be the “street” (more like alleyway) by Harrah’s casino. Nevertheless, they’ve put up a really interesting Christmas display, complete with a snow making machine.

I'm Tess Conrad, Yankee gone native in New Orleans. After dozens visits to research and write about NO's history I figured it'd be cheaper to just move, and in 2002 we did just that.

So now I own a NOLA-themed shop , and am part time at the Preservation Resource Center, which works to "preserve the historic neighborhoods that make New Orleans unique."
