“Our James” – Swoop Tomb, St. Patrick’s Cemetery

We went were out and about today (more on that later) and had the camera with us as the clouds rolled in, so we stopped and took a few shots. Actually I should say that Charlie did; it’s the first time in a long while he had a camera in his hands to go crazy with… and he was off and running, to the tune of 122 photos in just under an hour- give that man a medal!

So, courtesy of him, the Swoop tomb from St. Patrick’s. It’s one of the few metal tombs out there, and there’s still an amazing amount of detail there, under the rust patina.

Only the large lettering on the tomb is still legible, and it reads: “Our James, Our Anthony, Our Sebastian”
