Back to the swamp…
ByWe had my aunt and uncle come for a visit a few weeks ago, and unfortunately they only had about a day here, so naturally it was rainy/nasty, but we did manage to squeeze a cloudy hour or so out at Lafitte’s.
The Banana Spiders were starting to come out. I realized that I really wouldn’t want to be the first one to stroll the path in the morning; their webs stretched over the walkway in several different places. The ones that were still there at the end of the day were up high, like this communal one. The females are the big ‘uns, the males little.
