BySo how the hell did this happen? How is it possible that I have a 16 year old? Okay, well, technically her birthday’s in a week, so I still have a 15yr old. And why does 16 sound so much older than 15, anyway?
Don’t answer that- it’s all too easy. 16 = driving. Freedom. The start of college searching. Boys. Erm…exploration. The stakes go way up at 16.
And this one? Totally fearless. She blows me away. Already kicking ass and taking names. I’ll have to do a post on how she managed to save $5k to go away to Europe for 3 weeks- and 3 days in got one of the guides fired for not doing her job.
So here’s to you, kiddo! Yer makin’ me feel old, but you’re pretty damn cool. Guess you’d better carry the torch now.
But I’m still not sure how this turned into THAT. Very confused.
Plus it sounds so old because I think back to where I was at her age, and what I got up to and just…::::shudder::::.
