Mardi Gras World
ByAcross the Mississippi is Blane Kern’s Mardi Gras World, where they construct about 90% of all Mardi Gras floats used in New Orleans. I had to take guests over to check it out, and it was really interesting- you can watch the artists at work, and wander through the different paper mache constructions.
